Sculpture:
POLYMER: I sculpt both soft body poseable pieces and full body sculpts. Unicorns are a favorite of mine. Being a horse lover/owner I am lucky to have live models. (but not real unicorns - ;o) - unfortunately) Many of my pieces go on auction. Occasionally I will have pieces available on the site here. Usually an update my home page will tell you what is currently available, whether it is here or on ebay. My custom made pieces run in price anywhere from $300 to $700, and it really depends on the time and detail involved in it's creation.
PAPIER MACHE: These whimsical creations are available on commission starting at $75. Email me for a quote on your idea.
Paintings:
I do portraits, animals, landscapes, any subject really, except violence or explicit material. Paintings can be designed from pictures/photos or compilations of a number of different pictures/photos. eg: The background from one photo and an object or person from another photo. Improvisations are made sometimes to enhance layout and composition . Sketches are available to view during the painting's design. Photos are emailed intermittently during the painting to show progress and again upon completion. Any changes can be made before a final UV finish is applied.
Payment of 1/2(half) the final cost is expected as deposit before sketches are begun. Half of that initial first payment is held as a non-refundable deposit. eg: If sketches are started and/or painting is begun and the contract is terminated by the buyer, only one half of the initial deposit will be refunded. The other one half will be held by the artist as payment for time and materials. The second 1/2 (half) plus shipping cost will be expected upon completion.
Painting will ship when payment clears. Shipping will be fully insured to protect buyers investment.
A actual cost can only really be determined on a individual basis. Time, size and medium play a big role in final cost. Oils generally take far longer to dry than acrylics. Larger pieces that can be applied as wall murals are generally going to cost more than smaller 8x10 -16x20 pieces.
Restoration
I also occasionally take on restoration work. Cleaning and restoration of older paintings and some canvas repair. If you have a shippable old treasure or live in the central North Dakota area (for larger pieces) please feel free to email me for a quote.
